KAISHA-Tec announces new .NET based BPM platform.
Tokyo, February 3rd 2007. BPM vendor KAISHA-Tec, announced today its next generation standards based BPM platform – ActiveModeler Avantage.
The Windows based Avantage platform is an extensible plugin-based architecture which is available free of charge to all users. The base platform provides BPMN process diagramming, multiple projects, and organizational structure modeling. KAISHA-Tec have also bundled a free Community Edition of their award winning ActiveFlow process deployment engine with the platform. For many users, the base platform will provide all of the features functionality that will ever be required.
A range of drop-in commercial plugins is available which provides additional high level functionality including process metrics and category analysis, SOX-COSO compliance, Process documentation and seamless integration with a CVS repository.
KAISHA-Tec Director Dr Geoffrey Long said today, “The high cost of quality BPM tools has been been a very significant barrier to the wide spread take-up of BPM, relegating it to the preserve of large corporates and those who could afford it. Today, we are making available for free a high quality tool to help change this situation. We would like to see BPM technology available to all classes of users, including the educational and training sectors, consultancies as well as large corporations”.
KAISHA-Tec also believes that no one company can offer all the BPM modeling features required in a software package, so the Avantage architecture allows for OEM vendors and companies to develop plugins to achieve vendor independence. A developer SDK is available to achieve this goal.
Product Availability. The ActiveModeler Avantage BPM Platform is available for immediate download from www.activemodeler.com. Currently English, Japanese and Chinese(simplified) versions are available within the same executable. Other languages will follow shortly.
